You can add press clippings, reviews, awards, events, headshots, links and downloads to your account. On many designs they had only one place to appear: a catch-all More page, and plenty of designs did not have one. Adding your first review could change nothing you could point at.
That has changed. Each of those seven now earns a page of its own.
How a content page appears
The moment you add your first item of a kind, its page appears at the bottom of Website, then Pages, switched off and with its address already reserved. Switch it on and it joins your menu. You can rename it, drag it to a new position, or put it Part of another page. Reviews inside your Resume page and press inside About are both common choices. Photo galleries can be placed inside another page the same way.
These pages are drawn in your design's own fonts and colors, and they appear under two-level menus like any other page.
Home has a row now
Every site has a home page, and until now it was the one page with no row on the Pages screen. It is pinned at the top now. That gives you somewhere to set the banner image for your own front page, which is what visitors see first. If you have not uploaded one, the design falls back to one of your photos, and then to a panel in your color.
Smaller things on the same screen
- Drag handles are always visible. There is no separate reorder mode to switch into, which matches drag sorting across the admin.
- A page can have its own color, from twelve presets. Designs that support it, starting with design 9, tint that page's panel with it.
- Pages you write yourself open in your design on every design, with its header, menu and fonts around your words.
What to do with it
Open Pages and look at the bottom of the list. If there is a switched-off page there for something you added months ago, you have content nobody has been able to see. Switch it on, or pin it inside a page that already gets visits.
The press page is the one most worth doing, because a clipping from a real outlet does more for a casting director's confidence than a paragraph about yourself. Custom pages cover anything the seven kinds do not, and a thumbnail for each page decides how it looks when shared.
