Are you wowing your visitors?

Are you wowing your visitors?
Actor website tip · #33 of 40

Put your best foot forward - always show your most impressive work first.

I hope that goes without saying that you need to wow your visitors. You don't want to give them a Joe Shmoe with a sub-par website experience. Instead, you want a clean and professional website that will impress your visitor instantly.

Just like you would put your best work first when creating your acting reel, you should consider the same tactic with your website.

  1. If you have won an award or two, that might be the first thing you would list on your "about" page.
  2. If you had press written about your amazing performances, that too deserves an honorary mention.
  3. Finally you may want to list and reviews other people and critics have given you, even if they're short.

Don't forget to link everything back to the source, so that people can confirm that everything you're saying has merit.
